Hey guys,
This is the first time I have ever had xenon's so I need some help. I got the message on the message board saying CHECK LOW BEAM, R so as I was driving I stopped behind a car and realized the Right bulb is faded out and it sometimes flickered and then it went out... I would only assume that this is due to the bulb needing replacing. I really like the current colour of the bulbs I have.... they are FANTASTIC. As per Nibo they are K-Lite 6000K bulbs. So..... Where can I get these bulbs from??? Pacific??? or is there another brand that people know of that are better??? Thanks in advance. |

flickering may not mean it need replacement the ballast or igniter could be going.

ummmm.... thats not good.... so what can i do????? how can i find out?????
well i guess what i can do is check to see if its the bulb by switching the left one over to the right..... considering the left one is fine. Then i'll go from there. flickering may not mean it need replacement the ballast or igniter could be going. This post has been edited by RJC240: Jul 3 2008, 10:53 AM |

OK! so after scratching my arm and hands and struggling with the change.... I finally did it, and it seems like its the bulb.
what a relief! so I called up Pacific and they have the bulbs in stock...... 140 for the pair. |

When you turn on the car in the day do you turn on the lights?
With HID's if you don't turn them on before you put on the lights in the daytime, the daylight sensor messes with them and they try to ignite every few seconds as you drive. (slow strobe). If you keep that up the bulbs or the ballasts can wear out and you'll need a new set in no time. Been there done that :-P I wish I went OEM... :'( |

My lights come on as soon as i turn on my car..... they just come on automatically... i dont know why i have an off setting or auto setting.... cause it doesn't make a difference. The only reason why i ever turn that stupid knob is to get my fogs on.

I need to re program the computer because my kit I installed flickers when the day time running lights are on and it throws me an error. Was hoping the change in computer would solve that problem. Tried the dealer but they wanted way too much money and Prestige didn't want to do it incase it got traced back to them since I don't have auto levelling. I am going to the GTA soon. does anyone know a place either dealer or independant that would do this? Thanks again! |

I forgot yah prestige auto just did it for me because... I forgot he wouldn't do it for just anyone. He is very particular and dosent want any lawsuits or problems do to enabling something that should not be enabled.
